Title: Junior / Entry Level Test Engineer
Salary range: Up to 25k depending on experience.
Job Profile: Junior / Entry level test engineer for a leading Scottish Digital Agency. Working in a fast paced environment, with ever changing workloads, you will be responsible for overseeing testing of multiple web/mobile application and site builds. You will be responsible for improving quality within Dog; along with ensuring that final product deliveries are properly tested.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in Software Testing, or with experience.
This role will see you become experienced in all aspects of software testing, including but not limited to the following:
-Accessibility testing
-Automation
-Compatibility testing
-Functional testing
-Performance testing
-Risk analysis
-Security testing
-Test planning and design
-Usability testing
Key skills/experience:
-Experience, or ability to demonstrate strong functional testing skills.
-Must have a background in computer science.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Strong critical thinking skills.
Desirable skills/experience:
-Previous experience with web automation.
-Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
